A multi-congregational, multiethnic community whose goal is to shake the nations for Jesus Christ
We are a multi-congregational, multiethnic community whose goal is to shake the nations for Jesus Christ. We actively seek out and engage people groups in Dallas and throughout the world in order to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with them. Where needed, we start new churches and are always available to provide training and relational support to church planters. Each one of our on-campus and off-campus churches are fully autonomous. They worship in their own heart language and cultural context. Our prayer is that God will allow us to facilitate a multiplying church planting movement that begins in Dallas and extends to the end of the earth. The following pages will help explain this in a more detailed way. Our mission is to make disciples of all people groups, from Dallas to the ends of the earth. A disciple is a follower of Jesus Christ, not just a church member. The Bible teaches us that to follow Jesus Christ means we agree: to be God’s holy people by living in gracious and life changing obedience to God's Word, The Holy Bible. to love God with all that we are, through our creative worship and prayer, and love our neighbors as ourselves, by serving the needs of our community. to shake the nations for God's glory by making disciples of every people group in the world from Dallas to the ends of the earth. Attention ALL FMBC Members and Friends: Tomorrow, Saturday, April 13, we are planning to distribute gospel packets from 9:00-1:00. The forecast is for rain. Please pray for a window of dry weather at that time. And take a step of faith-- plan to join us no matter what the weather forecast says. If it does rain, we have a bunch more packets to put together and will need your help for that as well. "For we walk by faith, not by sight." --2 Cor. 5:7

During our second Sunday of the Undivided series on racial reconciliation, our church addressed the ignorance that is so often prevalent in racial and ethnic issues. The photos show the congregation in multiethnic and multigenerational groups talking about how we are called to move beyond our ignorance to become aware of real issues that divide us. Awareness is the theme for next week's service. If you are interested in learning how one group of believers is moving toward a genuine multiethnic gospel community, join us next Sunday at 10:50 AM.

Sometimes, we get so obsessed with our own issues, we forget the horrific persecution going on in the Middle East and other places around the world.
Many of you remember Jasmine Austin. She is a granddaughter of Ray Branch's, was baptized in our church and attended for some time, but moved away after she graduated high school. She has been in the hospital for some months now, much of the time in a coma. Ray told me this morning that they are afraid she is giving up and asked for prayer. Please pray.
Dallas Baptist Association has launched a forty day prayer guide called Fresh Forty. Check it out. I did, and am using it every day!
Today, we baptized Delilah Riley. Delilah and her two children, Curtis and Kyleon, recently moved to Lake Highlands from Jackson MS, and in the process of moving she realized she need to make a firm faith commitment to Jesus Christ. She has done that and is now making a public profession of her faith by following the Lord in Believer’s Baptism. We praise the Lord for Dalilah’s new life in Dallas, but more importantly for her new life in Christ!
It is with great sadness and Christian sympathy that I need to share with our FMBC family that Ganimete Krasniqi has passed away. Ganimete is the sister of Eva McAfee, and will be sorely missed by those left here on this earth. Please pray for Eva and Jarred, as well as the Krasniqi family as they mourn Ganimete's sudden passing. "Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his faithful servants." --Psalm 116:15
When I was in seminary, I always had about an hour to kill between classes and work. As often as I could I would go home and watch a 1/2 hour of Mr. Rogers. It relaxed me so much, I'd usually fall asleep. It wasn't boredom the put me to sleep. It was that the show took the stress and anxiety worry out of my life. I loved the man. Loved the show!
This is a great short article by D.A. Carson that we should all read. https://tonyreinke.com/2017/02/14/don-carson-how-to-destroy-evangelism-with-political-animosity/
